Tips & tricks for cleaning marble furniture

A beautiful marble table can be the showpiece of your home. However, there are some important points to consider before buying one. This natural stone is very delicate and if you're not careful, you will have permanent stains on your favourite piece of furniture in no time. But don't worry, we will help you out! Better safe than sorry Marble is a very fragile natural stone. From the moment the stone comes into contact with acid, it's usually already too late. The acid will then bite into the stone, with all its consequences. So be extra careful when you put a glass of orange juice on your marble coffee table. How to clean a marble top? We will first tell you which cleaning products you should definitely not use so that you don't make the situation even worse. First and foremost, do not use any cleaning products with lemon in them. Fill a bottle with warm water and a tablespoon of mild detergent. Then spray gently on the marble and wipe off with a warm, wet rag. Then leave the surface to dry for a while and use a soft towel to dry off the top. An accident, now what? What if it's already too late? The goal, of course, is to be able to continue using your marble furniture. But don't worry, you will be able to get some stains out. You can buy special marble cleaner or, as described above, you can clean it yourself. You should always try to avoid the acid biting into the kitchen top, because these stains are permanent and cannot be changed. So some caution is advised when buying marble furniture, but admit it: it's worth it, right?
